I had been to Baramati, the abode of Shri Sharad Pawar. This place is in the environment of prosperity, of people from different walks of life, due to the cooperative movement initiated by Shri Sharad Pawarji. When Shri Sharad Pawar was the Raksha Mantri, I had the opportunity to interact with him very frequently as Scientific Adviser to Raksha Mantri. During my interactions with him on a number of occasions, I was deeply inspired by the importance given by him towards self-reliance on defence technology. On the occasion of his birthday, I greet him and wish him a happy life. May the Almighty bless him with long life in the service of the nation.
