Introduction
Shri Sharadchandra Pawar, a multi faceted personality needs no introduction to national as well as international audiences. Shri Sharad Pawar, a gentleman in the world of politics has reached a number of milestones in his long and illustrious career, by sheer dint of merit, courage, grit and determination. His fanatical persistence and indomitable dedication to his principles are the cornerstones by which he is achieving his objectives. His strength of character is a fundamental quality in the builder of a nation. His political acumen, his ability to measure the pulse of the people and guide them to their aspirations, coupled with his oratorical powers would make him an exceptional statesman of any age. His long term foresight, beliefs and deeds have been aimed at the good and well being of the common man, in an endeavour to make a paradigm shift in the life style of the latter. Childhood and Education
Shri. Sharad Pawar, the son of Shri. Govindrao Pawar and Smt. Sharda Bai G. Pawar, is from the Katewadi village near Baramati in Pune district in Maharashtra. He was born on December 12, 1940. He is Bachelor of Commerce(B. Com).
Married life
Shri. Sharad Pawar married Sou. Pratibhatai Patil on 1 August 1967 . They have a daughter Supriya, who is also married to Shri. Sadanand Sule and have two children, Revati and Vijay.
